Ubisoft DRM Failure

So… u guessed it, the servers that require constant online authentication to play EA’s games went down over the weekend.  And that’s just funny ; )  And what is the reason for all this madness, well, I’m sure it all comes back to “scary pirates are out there stealing all our profits”…get over urself.  These huge multinational corporations (see post titled:  Game Development Costs & Piracy… reason enough to jack up prices?) are raking in the profits, and if they, like many of the banks in this country are stupid and greedy enough to spend all their doe while making bad decisions with their mountain of cash and continually looking for scapegoats, then they can go f*** themselves.  If a single dude has to watch his budget, he may have to spend a few weeks of his life eating ramen or macaroni and cheese, just because he has a job and made some money doesn’t mean he can eat lobster every day of his life, he would be broke and homeless.  The difference is that these huge corporations look for shady ways to make up their losses, such as raising prices of games to never before seen levels, or blaming p2p file sharing for stealing from them, where as the average Joe goes to jail if he tries to recover lost profits.
