Battlefield Bad Company 2 (Game Update)

Last night I wanted to play Bad Co. 2 and had to wait until Steam applied the update to my version of the game.  It did take about 30 minutes, but I am sure glad I waited.  One of the few lame features about Bad Company 2 is that the only real time you could type to everyone was during that 5 second window after the game was over and jets were flying bombing a ship or the jungle or something.  Now with the recent update you can type to your team or everyone whenever you want.  Even when you are dead, unlike before when you wanted to bash on someone that tk’d you, you would have to wait until you spawned, take cover then write a nasty message, and if he was dead, he would not be able to read it anyway.  Ohh and the language filter has been removed : )  During game play characters say many R rated words, but before the update anything relating to a swear word would be translated into character like this &%&*^)#$.  So with the update now you can swear out noobs for tk’ing you without wondering if the turd got the message.  Now they just need to add a vote kick function.  I must say I am happy that Dice has added this update a while after the release.  I’m sure they are still making tweaks for the upcoming Medal of Honor multiplayer before its release.  Its nice to see a company really cares about its product enough to add these types of features after it was already a hit.
