Starbucks = Free WiFi

Starting July 1st across the US Starbucks will no longer be charging for its WiFi service. In a deal with AT&T, Starbucks will now only be overcharging for bland coffee and frappachinos (which I love). Now we will be able to travel across the country and stop at any Starbucks (McDonald’s) eat something yummy that is not good for our health, and get free WiFi. God bless America. Currently the rate to access Starbuck’s WiFi network is $3.99 for 2 hours. Now you can be a creeper in the back of the store, lurking over the dim glow of your laptop for free. God bless America 2x.

Nice, thats how it should be. I wonder if companies have to pay extra fees to offer their WiFi for free or if its just a matter of giving out passwords for access...

Dude it has been free in Canada for ever! 2 hours free with a username/pass, and you can subscribe to as many as you want. I choose 6 hours free.
