If you want to put your writing skills to the test and have a major case of geek/gamer fever, then you may be interested in this proposal. If you have the time and the ability to construct a 2,500 – 7,500 word short story to Blizzard set in the fictional universe of WOW, Starcraft or Diablo. Blizzard has officially opened up their 2010 Global Writing Contest to anyone who knows how to write in English.
If you happen to get the gold in this one, you will be rewarded with an all expenses paid trip to Blizzard’s home base in Southern California as well as your choice of a Diablo III “OVERTHROWN” barbarian diorama or a Fostmourne sword.
