Sony’s Stereoscopic Multiplayer Idea

This may be the answer to annoying split-screen gaming when you have company over and instead of “chatting” you feel like playing 2 payer MW2 Co-Op missions, 3 Stars.  Sony has filed a patent that utilizes stereoscopic video and glasses that will allow players to not have their screen “split” when gaming together.

Gamers will be able to see two different images while looking at the same screen, each one seeing their own point of view.  So if you rely on screen watching to beat your buddy, say goodbye to your obvious lack of skill, and get ready to get owned the old fashioned way.

BrokeMyController uncovered the patient from Sony.
