Bioshock 2 DLC Features New Characters, Plasmids & Weapons (Minerva’s Den)

I got Bioshock 2 for my birthday back in February for the 360.  I played the first one on PC and loved it.  It took me a while to start playing the squeal, just because I was into other games, but once I got into it, I could not think about any other games for a while.  Simply amazing.  Bioshock 1 & 2 would be on my top 10 list if I had a top 10 list.  They game play, story and surroundings are simply mind blowing.  I really got a kick out of it, and like I said, could not think about anything else until I beat the single player earlier this year.

Well, 2K Games is coming out with some DLC that promises to add to the story of Bioshock.  Named Minerva’s Den, this batch of DLC (Downloadable Content) may be just what the doctor of Rapture asked for.  No price or release date yet, but will be for all 3 platforms (PC, PS3 & 360).

“Minerva’s Den is a substantial addition that will give players more of what they’re looking for: more story, more narrative, more gameplay and more of Rapture,” said 2K president Christoph Hartmann, in the press release. “The core team has created an exciting product that further enhances the mystery and allure of the world of Rapture. Minerva’s Den will be a fitting conclusion to the BioShock 2 saga.”
