Rebirth of Flight Simulator: Microsoft Flight

Hey Brad, this is for you.  Microsoft will be releasing Microsoft Flight in an effort to boost the declining interest within the airline industry to become a pilot.  If Microsoft can deliver a Flight Simulator that people will fall in love with, they may be able to somehow use that information in the future to make another shit-ton of money.  In reality the declining Airline Industry has nothing (that I know about) to do with the promise of Microsoft Flight.

One thing is for sure, there is still a huge community of flight sim addicts out there that will be looking forward to this with more anticipation than the Olympics or a Presidential Election.

Twenty-eight years after the debut of “Microsoft Flight Simulator 1.0,” Microsoft Game Studios also announced the internal development of “Microsoft Flight,” a new Windows exclusive. “Microsoft Flight” will bring a new perspective to the long-standing genre, welcoming everyone, including long-time fans, to experience the magic of flight.”

A teaser of the future of Flight on the Windows-based PC is available here.

Yup, the teaser video is typical MS crap. Animated Goodness that will never live up to the real deal. Although there is a very dedicated following of MSFS people and plenty of 3rd party developers for FSX, i'm afraid this new platform will not be cross compatable in MS special little way, oh and I state it will look good on the surface but anytime you try to manipulate it to do much more it will crash all the time.

So what are you trying to say, good old Microsoft doesn't support the modding community? How dare you. Mr. Gates would shit himself if he heard that. Let's just hope Microsoft has learned from their mistakes and will make amends with Microsoft Flight.
