That is a very good question, and a relevant one at that. Since the first Crysis was released and sought to break down as many computers as possible, saying, “Can it run Crysis” became commonplace in the gaming community. Now with Crysis 2 coming out there may very well be a whole new slew of “Can it run Crysis 2” taunts out there. But these specs look allot more attainable to many gamers than the original Crysis specs taking into context what type of computer hardware is available and for what price. Here are the minimum Crysis 2 PC system requirements.
*Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2 2GHz or better
* Nvidia 8800 GT or higher
* 2 GB RAM
* Windows XP/Vista/7
* 9 GB free hard disk space
* Internet connection
I can only assume the internet connection requirement is to register the game. I’m guessing once the game is registered with EA or whomever you should be able to play it without the internet “connected” if you so desire.
