Duke Nukem Forever Falling Flat

Duke Nukem Forever was recently released and the hype and build up for the new Duke in past 10 years or so, has now left gamers feeling lonely and cold.  Duke Nukem 3D was the most memorable game I remember playing on my dad’s PC growing up.  I remembering strolling into strip-clubs and getting girls to shake their money makers.  I can also remember blowing up giant ugly aliens and kicking some rather large alien’s eyeball through the uprights on a football field.  So I also bought into some of the hype.

I consider myself a pretty independent gamer, I like new gaming experiences and for the most part to make up my own mind about the games I play.  But with all the awful scores pouring in from basically every direction on the webz, bashing Duke Nukem Forever and how un-inspired and weak a game it is, I find myself holding back on getting Duke Nukem Forever.

Let me just say this…I’m saving my money this time around, that’s for sure.
