I love the zombie genre because its a totally different kind of survival gameplay, one like no other because of how zombies act.
Especially dead island because its free roam
Yes I had originally got into zombies through cod… I just liked to co op side of it. I enjoy how you can revert to running away and the AI will chase you, but you have played the game so much you know what they are going to do.
The shock of once running away from a horde you think you are safe, but group popping right in front of your face
i like it because in zombie games you know what expect but its still addicting.
In Zombies games its more of a Team Game and you must know what each person is doing in order to survive you cant just do it alone.
That’s one thing I love about zombie games too, if you have a good team, co-op is king
You will never know what weapons and levels or other surprises creators will offer for you.
I like zombie games because they are so bloody and gore games

My first real zombie was resident evil 3. From this moment I played many, many, many games with zombies, because I simply like the “genre”.
Honestly, I have been losing interest in the genre – it’s being over used.
I would rather see a Werewolf, Vampire, or something else that used to be scary-oriented game come out.
It seems like every developer these days goes for Zombies when they need a generic bad guy excuse for the world being in trouble.
Why? Because they can easily be used to represent Humanity’s failings, be it our mindless following of leaders, our insatiable lust for possessions, our violent nature, or what have you. They have a human face and lose themselves in one of our vices – I get that, I really do. But it just ends up becoming cliché instead of poignant.
Mostly i enjoy it because i love cooperative gameplay.
I like Zombie games because u get to kill alot of undead guys. They need to die rite?
I love zombies, games with zombies and giveaways with zombies ! Dead Island is a very special game, it’s very smart combo RPG and Action game. I like it beacause zombies are stupid and sometimes intelligent, depends on the game. It’s crazy mix, but i like it

I hate Zombies, after half-life I lost the care. I don’t like Never ending lifeless plots because you can make up any rules you want. Oh you thought shooting him 4gazllion times was going to stop him. Nope, you have to blow butterfly kisses. ahahahahah

I like the Zombie genre as its a much more fun concept of game, its especially fun with friends! Dead Island looks even better than the likes of Dead Rising too.

I love the zombie genre mainly for the science fiction story lines they have and the horde type gameplays that they usually have… It’s about time I won one of these! I’m owed it! Lol

I’ve loved the zombie genre ever since I saw the comedy “Shaun Of The Dead”, since then I’ve watched many different zombie movies, and played numerous types of zombie games. One day the zombies will rise and all us nerds are prepared.

Why do you love the zombie genre and why?
The answer to this question is simple.. and will be multiples..
have you ever sat and wondered why you need to just kill people and collect whatever loot they drop? not zombies they keep coming they have no tactics and there is a million and one ways to kill them! shovels firearms explosives running them over.. shooting them in the head there is a ton of ways and it never get’s old tiring or anything else!
there is a ton of ways to butcher torch and explode a living corpse.. and it just keeps getting better! i go through life taking care of cats and stray animals at my house and when i’m really frustrated i go and load up like Call of Duty or Left 4 dead or even Dead Rising 2 and just go to town on the killing and brutalizing of walking corpse’s it just doesn’t get any better than that.. role playing games you get to kill zombies sure.. but it’s just not as gratifying as screaming out at the screen “DIE MOTHER F@#$%s!” and going for that clean slice, bash or headshot!
Brutality is the key.. and i am the machine to do it!

I love the zombie genre because and i think that everyone will agree with me on this.. We all fantasize about what we would do in a zombie Apocalypse. And those great zombie games (Left4Dead 1 and 2, dead island, Nazi zombies) really do a good job of puting you right in the middle of it. weather its fast paced with lots of zombies, or one like dead island, that makes you think twice about jumping into a group of zombies.
I would love to have this game, I’ve played it a few times at a friends house and cant get it out of my system. I would definitely play the crap out of it.

What’s not to like about the Zombie genre?
While most genres gives satisfaction for killing things, the zombie genre has a different twist to it entirely, and when you cause mass slaughter, a no holds bared of blood and guts, it’s engaging and fun!

because it helps prepares me for a zombie apocalypse(or fantasize about it) and satisfies my blood lust to murder and bludgeon the heck out of these zombs. but most significantly cause it annoys and freaks out my mother and gf xD

I love zombie games and the entire zombie genre because it is different to other styles of games, they put us in a semi-real reality where these mutated humans exists as people that used to have friends and family. Or on the occasion they show a “What if?” type of scenario where if this really happened people would act like that and do what they need to survive, even if it is de-humanizing. These games provide an escape to regular games without being on another planet.
I love the zombie genre, escape your life by hordes of zombies … feel the rush of those moments are priceless. Imagine having a beisboll bat and have to use it to save your life because a zombie is about to bite you or use a chainsaw for the same purpose, none.
I remember the old school zombies, “Brain, brain need to eat” was funny, now the zombies are more serious, more scary and it shows in the game Dead Island. It would be an honor to play.
That and much more, I would like to have a copy of Dead Island, to feel that time and give me the joy of being able to say “lived” to be virtually independent. Maybe it sounds a bit silly what I just said but do you really feel and do not care if others think I’m stupid.

Do you want to know why i love the zombie genre? Imagine it, no school, no rules, just survival. It’s every gamer’s dream to be able to smash zombies and do nothing else! Just living in a dangerous, zombie filled world would be devastating but absolutely insane. This is what i get from the genre
I also love the suspense and the relived feeling when you make it through a narrow gap

The zombies managed to come back from the dead. Then, they often want to kill people or eat their brains. ¡No one can touch my brain!.

Zombie games are just legendary. Period
The thing is, if i wanted to shoot soldiers and fly ac-130′s, i would join the army, but i dont really have an IRL alternative to slaying zombies. Nothing is as satisfying as smashing, blowing up, cutting up, and destroying zombies.
I love the zombie because i simply love mashing up infected sons of bi**hes all day long.
I love zombie because in what other game would would you be able to gorily smash peoples head in, and dude they’re stupid so there’s no bad feelings
