Xotic Review

Recently I had the pleasure of playing Xotic developed and published by WXP Games. Going into this game I knew nothing about it as promotion for this product was next to zero, but after playing it I’m positive the reviews and promotion will pick up for this great little game.

System Requirments :

  • OS: Windows XP, Vista, 7
  • Processor: 1.7 GHz Dual Core or better
  • Memory: 2 GB Ram
  • Hard Disk Space: 3.5 GB Available space
  • Video Card: 512 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card (shader model 3)
  • DirectX®: 9.0c
  • Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible

Graphics : 6.0

Graphics don’t really play a huge role in this title so don’t let the score fool you as it’s not the kinda game that demands high graphics, I recommend you judge it yourself.

Gameplay : 8.0

This game is great in small doses it brings a new kinda experience to FPS games and allows you to screw around and have fun or test yourself amongst friends in multiplayer scoreboards aswell. The game reminds me of those 2D bubble games but its done in a 3D environment and with a gun where you can set of chain reactions by strategically shooting along with finding hidden goodies and battling creatures to keep you focused. The game also brings a unique story line aswell that is alot different from the usual we have been getting lately so if your up for something new check it out.

Sound: 6.5/10

Again sound isn’t a major thing in this game so don’t let my score fool you!

Overall Score: 7.5/10

The game was great and alot of fun! It’s not what I usually play so I can only play it in small doses, but when I do I find myself enjoying the experience and with the current price tag on this little gem I really recommend you guys give it a go. If your a social gamer it also brings the ability to battle scores with your friends and wipe there asses with your skills.

Hardcore gamer with a huge interest for underground rap or any other talent.

Looks like an interesting game.. but there's not enough action >:(

it is :D and its only 9.99 on steam which also makes it a better game haha
