Yet again I have found a time waster game, Candy Crush Saga. Yes it is from the same maker as Bubble Witch Saga, and that is actually how I found this other addicting game. Read on to find out what I think of it.
Candy Crush Saga is similar to games like Bejeweled in that you have to match 3 or more of the same item, in this game candy. However, that is where the similarity ends. In this game you do one of two things in a level to beat it. You either have to clear all the candy which is in a jelly packet or you have to bring ingredients down from the top to the bottom. Although you only get a certain number of moves to complete either of these tasks. The levels are one or the other, not both.
This may seem easy, and at first it is, but like most games, the higher the level the harder the game becomes. So, later when you have jelly packets to clear, you might have holes in the grid so you can’t make your match where the holes are. In a twist from games like Bejeweled, the candy does not drop straight down from these spots either but instead will drop down and when it hits the hole, goes to one side where there is space. So you really have to pay attention as you match your candy.
Since you can play this game on Facebook, you play against your friends for the highest score per level. You can get power-ups to help you beat levels but once you use them up, you have to use real money to purchase more. That part I don’t like so I don’t this game as much. The only reason I started was to gain 10,000 coins in Bubble Witch Saga.
It is fun though, and definitely a challenge to finish the task before you run out of turns. If you want something else to waste time with, or even play against your friends in a friendly competition, this is a game for you.
