Dwarfs?! shows us on thing is apparent in indie games too – trends.
Apparently, dwarfs, underground, and digging are things we should all be expecting from indie games – but that’s a bit hypocritical so we will just sweep that one under the rug.
An addictive fast paced arcade mix between Dwarf Fortress and Lemmings – with a twist. You build, survive, manage, and maintain up until their inevitable death! While this might not seem like a lot of fun but when you consider all the other games out there with inevitable deaths, like Minecraft, (some) Zombie/Horde modes, and most MOBAs, it’s not hard to justify managing your own little fortress under/above ground!

Now you might be asking – what’s the downside to this Free to Play? Surely you can’t have a Pay to Dig model here? And you know what? You are 100% correct, it’s entirely free to play – but it is limited in the number of modes you have access to. If you want more modes? Buy them! An interesting model, that allows you to pay for the features you want to see, rather then getting shelved with DLC you didn’t want in the first place – you just wanted the cool gun camo.
All the aside, it looks like a fair bit of fun.
