EA and Dice are in full testing and final development mode with the latest installment of Battlefield. Battlefield 1 (referencing The Great War) has already made its way around the internet in quite an interesting way. Dice has been delivering solid games for many years now, and fans of the Battlefield series are drooling at the mouth waiting for the much anticipated release of Battlefield 1. Downing a zeppelin is something I have always secretly dreamed of. With the magic of video games and and a little patience, I will be able to do just that come October 21st. Battlefield 1 will also offer a unique classes system as described below.
When we started working on Battlefield(TM) 1, we started looking at how we could evolve and improve a number of Battlefieldstaples, including the roles you can fill. Classes have been a part of Battlefield since the beginning – whether you were deploying as a Medic in Battlefield 1942 or an Engineer in Battlefield 2142, you’ve felt the impact of how Classes change the game. This time around, we saw opportunities to make some changes, both in the roles of the different Classes and the general effectiveness of every Class in combat.
Time to forget about Call of Duty, get in the trenches and get psyched for some Battlefield, WWI style.
